Can I bring a pet in for a visit? Yes, provided your pet is up to date with vaccinations, licensed and a non-aggressive breed. Please, talk with our Recreation Department for further details.

Do you offer Hospice services? Yes, we have contracts with local Hospice agencies.  Social Services can assist with this process as well as end of life issues.

What are your visiting hours? There are no set visiting ours, as we welcome all residents’ family and friends to visit anytime. However, we are a locked down facility for increased safety purposes. For this reason, please use the main entrance doorbell, and staff will let you in.

Can we bring food? Yes. Please discuss food item with nursing staff to maintain safety and dietary compliance. Food will be marked with a date, refrigerated and discarded after a certain period of time.

What types of activities do you offer? Our staff can provide one-on-one visits, group activities and community outings. We offer weekly beauty shop services and monthly barber shop services. We have a recreation room where we bake, watch movies and have popcorn, sit on the patio, have club gatherings (Euchre, Men’s Club, Women’s Club), craft tables, Nintendo Wii games, music, reading, spiritual services, BINGO twice a week, pet visits, and many more.  Please, see the activities calendar for day to day therapeutic recreation.

Do you have family and holiday celebrations?  We provide family activities, such as our annual family picnic, while also celebrating birthdays and annual holidays.  Please see our Recreation Department for holiday celebration events.

Do you take the Resident’s out of the facility? Yes, we do have a bus and van available for community outings. Our Resident’s have the opportunity to be active in the community and outside the community.  They go shopping to the local Walmart, crop tours, windmill tours, parades, festivals, Christmas shopping in the mall, lake picnics, fishing trips, and many more.

Are Religious services offered? Yes. We have Catholic communion as well as non-denominational services. Please, discuss religious preferences with our Recreation Department for accommodation of spiritual needs.

Do you provide 24-hour care? Yes. We have nurses on staff 24-hours a day on all shifts. See Nursing Services.

Will my insurance pay for services? In most cases, yes.  Every insurance company has varying requirements and criteria. Please, ask to speak with one of our Financial Representatives to assist with this determination and any other financial concern.
