The Dining Services department is headed by a Registered Dietitian and a Certified Dietary Manager. There is 12 additional staff, including experienced cooks and dietary aids that prepare and serve three nutritious meals and snacks for 104 residents on a daily basis. Special diets are prepared and served as needed including therapeutic and mechanically altered diets.
All meals are served in each of our three main dining rooms unless requested to be served in a resident’s room. The nurse aides assist the residents with their meals with a choice of two main entrees, soups, salads and desserts.
Our employee cafeteria is open Monday through Friday from 10:45 am until 1:00 pm serving employees, family members and the general public.
Dining Services works with the Activity Department for special meals for Men’s and Ladies Clubs, Resident choice meal, Summer picnic, Christmas Party and other afternoon treats for Mothers Day, Fathers Day and Birthday month. Thanksgiving Day lunch is available for lunch is available for Residents and their guests on Thanksgiving Day.
